osConcert Insights is a new analytics and management area developed for osConcert v10.3.

It works like a plugin-style extension inside the osConcert administration area. It examines the ticketing information already stored in your osConcert database and presents it as clearer management information.

Insights reads your data—it does not operate your ticket shop

Insights can analyse information such as:

• Events and performances
• Orders and ticket sales
• Reserved seating and general admission capacity
• Barcode and admission activity
• Revenue, refunds, vouchers and coupons
• Box Office and online sales

This information is used to create dashboards, comparisons, performance analysis and CSV exports.

However, Insights does not change your orders, seats, ticket availability, customer accounts, payment processing or checkout operation.

Your existing osConcert ticketing system continues to work normally.

Your information remains in your own installation

osConcert Insights does not require a separate analytics account or an external reporting service.

Your ticketing information remains inside your own osConcert installation and database. Insights provides a new way to understand that information from the administration area.

Suitable for customized osConcert installations

Many self-managed osConcert customers have customized their ticket shop, language files, seat plans and public design.

Because Insights is primarily a read-only management layer, it can be added without replacing the way customers purchase tickets. Nevertheless, customized installations should always be backed up and tested before adding a major new version.

Insights has been developed for osConcert v10.3. Customers using an older version should first move to the current platform rather than attempting to install Insights directly into an outdated or heavily modified system.
